FM APPROVALS GUIDE LISTINGFoam Insulation Systems (Wall/Ceiling) FM Approvals Standard 4880 (1994)The following have been evaluated according to FM Approvals Standard 4880 (1994) (in representative wall or wall/ceiling panels). Panel manufacturers using these foam systems must submit their individual panel constructions for an independent evaluation before they can be considered FM Approved assemblies. These foam systems are FM Approved for insulation of wall panels only or wall and ceiling panels as noted in the individual listings. Wall-Ceiling Construction FM Approvals Standard 4880 (1994) Metal-faced — Class 1 Fire Rated to max 30 ft (9.1 m) High Polyphen® (Australia) Pty Ltd, Box 199, Queenscliff 3000, Victoria Australia PØLYPHEN® Panel wall and ceiling panels consist of polyester coated steel facers and PØLYPHEN® insulation. Panels are 47.5 in. (1200 mm) wide, maximum 10 in. (250 mm) thick, and available in various lengths. The core has a nominal density of 2.4 lb/ft3 (38 kg/m3). Panel side joints are tongue and groove and require silicone in the female edge during installation. Flashing, 0.024 in. (0.6 mm) thick steel painted with the same coating as the facers, is installed on all corners and is secured with stainless steel rivets spaced a maximum 12 in. (300 mm).
